Meet Dr. Molitoris.
Dr. John Molitoris is the pilot physician for Marvelous, caring for our founding members in Brentwood, Santa Monica and West LA. He is a board-certified family medicine physician with nearly 20 years of experience, and the founder of Rare Find Medical, a Los Angeles concierge practice that brings care into patients' homes.
Two decades of family medicine, now at your door.
Dr. Molitoris earned his medical degree at Penn State and trained in family medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, where he stayed on as a clinician and teacher. At Penn he worked on clinical research and the medical school curriculum, served on committees for health education, quality improvement and physician advocacy, and helped launch new kinds of care, including Medicare Annual Wellness Visits and virtual visits.
In Los Angeles, he practiced with the Cedars-Sinai medical group and has served as medical director for Sony Pictures Entertainment since 2018. In 2024 he founded Rare Find Medical, a concierge practice serving Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, Brentwood and Culver City, where evaluation, treatment and care can all happen at home.
He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. His approach pairs evidence-based medicine with a whole-person view of each patient, shaped by a long commitment to community health and patient advocacy. As the pilot physician for Marvelous, he leads care for our founding members, starting with every member's Marvelous Annual Tune-Up.
