Membership Agreement

Everything your membership includes, what it costs, and how to cancel. Start with the summary, then read the full agreement below. You accept it when you join.

Your membership

+ $39/month for each additional person at your address

The fee covers Marvelous concierge support and the medical care included below from Dr. John Molitoris and Rare Medical. It is not insurance.

What's included
UnlimitedConcierge by text and phoneScheduling, care coordination, referrals, records and follow-through
6Video visits a yearFor each member. 3 every six months.
4CarePod or in-home visits a yearShared by your household. 2 every six months.

Your year is split into two six-month periods starting the day you join. Unused visits don't carry over to the next period. In-person visits are only within the Marvelous service area.

Extra visitMissed or cancelled late
CarePod or in-home visit$250$125
Video visit$150$75

We tell you the price and ask before any extra visit. "Late" means less than 24 hours before the start time. A missed visit is charged but doesn't use up your allotment.

Commitment and cancelling
  • 3-month minimum. You commit to your first three months, billed monthly. Cancelling during them takes effect at the end of month three, and those fees aren't refunded.
  • Then month to month. Cancel any time, effective at the end of the month you're in.
  • Cancel your way. In your account, by replying to any Marvelous text, by email to hello@marvelous.health, or by phone.
  • No surprises. We give you 7 to 30 days' notice before any price change, and send a yearly reminder of what you pay and how to cancel.
Not included
  • Lab tests processed by an outside laboratory
  • Imaging beyond the point-of-care tools on hand
  • Emergency care, and care from any provider other than Dr. Molitoris and Rare Medical
  • Tests, procedures or medications a clinician recommends after a visit

You pay for these separately if you get them.

Who does what
  • Marvelous runs your membership: the concierge team, scheduling, coordination and the technology. Marvelous does not practice medicine.
  • Dr. John Molitoris at Rare Medical, his independent medical practice, provides all medical care, holds your medical record and has its own privacy notice.
  • Insurance. The membership fee isn't covered by Medicare, Medicaid or private insurance. Rare Medical may bill your plan for medical care it provides, in which case your usual copay or deductible applies.
  • HSA and FSA. The fee is designed to be HSA and FSA eligible, but check with your tax advisor or plan.
